Life is hard. There's no getting around it. Jesus knew that too. He didn't come make everything perfect and shiny and safe. He just told stories. He knew that stories bring us together and give us the strength to walk a little farther than we think we can.
Telling our stories is hard. It takes a lot of courage to show our real selves, to tell the dirty truth, to cry the ugly cry.
On Fridays, we get brave around here. We dig deep. I host the "Tell Me a Story" linkup, a place to share growing, learning, God came near stories. Stories of joy, stories of pain, they all matter. Every story is important. Every story whispers, "You're not alone out here."
