Bailey Plays Hardball

Wheeeeeee!

Bailey had fun today crawling into small spaces and zooming around the room. Of course, it's heartbreaking when everyone stops playing with you!

Christmas Eve
My mom called the day before Christmas Eve, just to make sure Bailey got her early present! It is a keyboard that she can bang and walk on-it is really a little old for her, but I think she'll play with it. She figured out how to work the rhythm part right away. It's really not age appropriate for Ryan either, but I think he'll play with it too. Family fun for everyone!

Altered Book Project

I saw a challenge on CCCE Stampers to create something altered. This is my favorite altered project, although I didn't make it this week. My husband and I went to London over Spring Break in 2007 and while we were there I kept out ticket stubs, passes, and other things we picked up along the way. I went to a local used bookstore and found a hardback book on Buckingham Palace filled with black and white photos. I used this as my background and adding my pictures and embellishments on top of it, using the pictures and some of the writing that showed around the pictures as built in background. I used a simple theme of red and black to coordinate with the black and white pictures. I put the pictures in the order of the days we were there and put in red journaling blacks to record our experiences. I glued together most of the pages I didn't use, but left a few free to show. It was a fun project to do, and even better to finish!
